September is here, and I’ve really been enjoying these perfect 70-degree afternoons. Open houses feel so much more relaxed this time of year. The market is still active, and I’m seeing more positive signs lately. Although homes are staying on the market a bit longer, buyer activity remains steady, and mortgage rates have ticked lower. Right now, national averages put the 30-year fixed around 6.3%, and the 15-year closer to 5.2%. Of course, local rates vary, but if you’re curious about what that could mean for you, I’d be happy to connect you with some great local lenders.

✨ I started hosting this free monthly movie night to bring neighbors together, and it’s grown into a fun tradition with 60+ regular attendees and many more signed up for movie alerts.

Cataract Falls,
I recently hiked Cataract Falls, a beautiful waterfall trail near Fairfax on Mt. Tamalpais, and it’s definitely worth a day trip. I went early Saturday, grabbed coffee and treats at the Marin Country Mart Farmers’ Market on the way, and the views did not disappoint.
Tip: the falls are at their best after a rain or wet winter, so the perfect season is just around the corner.
